Early Childhood Education and Social Vulnerability: Challenges and Proposals for Inclusion

Abstract

This research investigates how social vulnerability affects the quality of early childhood education and children's development. The study seeks to identify the main risk factors, such as learning difficulties and school dropout, and to analyze the effectiveness of policies and programs to minimize these impacts. Through a qualitative approach, interviews with education professionals and document analysis were conducted. The results indicate that social vulnerability significantly impairs school performance, but that cooperation between school, community and family, through integrated support programs, can reduce these effects and promote a more inclusive educational environment.
