The research, conducted at a municipal school in Salgueiro (PE), analyzed teachers’ perceptions of inclusive education and their training to meet the needs of diverse students. It was concluded that schools play a crucial role in promoting inclusion and diversity, but that a joint effort by all those involved in the educational process is necessary for this to become a reality.
